Oral cancer is the uncontrolled division of the cells occurring in the tongue, salivary glands, tonsils, lips, and upper and lower part of the mouth.

Oral Cancer begins with uncontrolled cell division in mouth or throat. Oral cancer or Mouth Cancer is the type of cancer which can occur anywhere in the mouth including tongue, salivary glands, tonsils, lips and upper and lower floor of the mouth. Oral cancer is mostly observed in men. The person who smokes and drinks alcohol are at higher risk of developing oral cancer at some point of their life. Oral cancer is considered as one of the types of head and neck cancers.
