Prevention of Kidney Cancer is done with the ceasing of smoking habit, maintaining healthy weight and controlling blood pressure by choosing the right lifestyle.

Kidney cancer may not be always be a preventable condition even when the causes are known (in case of genetic inheritence). However, there are ways through which it can be prevented to some extent:

Stop smoking as it forms a major reason behind the developing cancer

Maintain a healthy weight because being overweight can trigger on cancer. Sticking to a healthy diet packed with fruits and vegetables is a good way to avoid the dreaded condition

Keep blood pressure under control by as keeping it in the right limits decreases the chances to have cancer
