Leukemia is the cancer of blood and it affects the bone marrow. White blood cells are most likely to be affected with Leukemia.

Leukemia (Blood Cancer) is the cancer of the cells involved in blood formation. Leukemia or commonly known as blood cancer affects the bone marrow, lymphatic system and blood cells in the human body. Human beings have three types of blood cells namely red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.

White blood cells are the most types of blood cells which are affected by leukemia. Each year millions of people around the world are diagnosed with leukemia cancer. Identification of leukemia cancer at early stages has very higher percentage of survival rate.
